Three years, fourth months, thirteen days : my World War II experiences, ca. 1942-2001.

Bound Memoir, Photocopied Photographs, Photocopied Maps, Photocopied Military Documents, Photocopied Newspaper Articles. For over three years, Warwood wrote home fairly regularly, and his letters were kept while he was away. This is a compilation of those letters. They are well written, generally speaking of the day to day events he was involved in and what plans he had daydreamed of for his return. He speaks often of the shops he had built and worked in as he moved around with his unit, and of the shop he would build when he returned home. He also often wished he had a camera, which he must have acquired somehow because he includes many photos taken of him, his fellow soldiers, and the places they were. Overall it is a very good record with lots of details.
